Flypast to commemorate D Day over Norfolk Heritage Park – 15 June 2019 #DDay75

Timings have been announced for the flypast on Saturday 15 June to mark 75 years since D Day. A Lancaster bomber is expected to fly over at around 1.30pm, as part of a memorial service starting around 12.40pm.

A crowd of over 3,000 is anticipated, plus D Day veterans, the Lord Lieutenant of South Yorkshire, the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, and other dignitaries. Veterans will be arriving from 11.15am. The event will take place at the top end of the park.

If you plan to attend, please travel by public transport – parking will be extremely difficult due to the large numbers expected and restrictions on the day.
